Sure in the Channel Islands and Isle of Man has continued to attract new customers across both its mobile and broadband services, which in turn has helped increase the overall subscriber base of parent company, Batelco Group.
On a year-on-year basis, Sure saw a significant increase of 15 per cent in the number of broadband customers and now has over 29,000 customers across the Channel Islands and Isle of Man.
The company also saw a two percent increase in the number of mobile customers to nearly 94,500 subscribers across the three islands.
Looking at the performance, Graham Hughes, Chief Executive of Sure Jersey, commented: "There is intense competition across most telecoms services in the Channel Islands and Isle of Man, which makes our continued subscriber growth particularly pleasing. We are looking forward to the opening up of the landline market next month as well the completion of our pan-Channel Island 4G network in the coming weeks."
