Startup Guernsey is to host a series of free events for Global Entrepreneurship Week, which runs from 12-16 November.
The week will kick off with a speed-networking session from 8am-9am on 12 November at Urban Kitchen.
Also on 12 November public relations consultancy Orchard will host a ‘meet the media’ session from 1-2pm at the Digital Greenhouse for local businesses and entrepreneurs to find out more about how they can engage effectively with the media.
On Tuesday 13 November, an Angel Pitch event from 6pm to 8pm at the Digital Greenhouse will give local startups the opportunity to pitch for local angel investment.
On Wednesday 14 November from 8am to 9am Startup Guernsey will host a networking event at Urban Kitchen for budding entrepreneurs.
Startup Guernsey's Tourism Ideathon, organised in conjunction with Visit Guernsey, takes place on Wednesday 14 and Thursday 15 November at Moores Hotel between 4pm and 9pm each day, with the aim of turning tourism-related project or business ideas into reality.
The final event, on 16 November from 10am to midday at the Digital Greenhouse, will be Feminine Business, a workshop (for women and men) on the impact of integrating feminine values into the corporate world.
