Startup Guernsey has organised a series of events and workshops from 13-17 November to mark Global Entrepreneurship Week.
This includes a range of events at the Digital Greenhouse, including:
• Speed networking – thebestof Guernsey
• Wordpress workshop – AB Design
• Introduction to G Suite – Google-certified trainer Martine Ellis
• Vision boarding workshop – Sasha Kazantseva-Miller, Island Mums
• Social media café – All Things Social
Startup Guernsey will also host a Food Entrepreneurs event, at which entrepreneurs will share stories about setting up food and drink businesses. Speakers include Primrose Matheson from Primrose Kitchen, Charlotte Dickson from Guernsey Oysters and James Le Gallez from Aperitif.
FinVention 2017 will take place on Wednesday 15 November at St James. Combining three themes – Digital Guernsey, Great People and Great Innovations – FinVention 2017 aims to showcase innovative products and services in the fintech, digital, creative and start-up sectors.
Keynote speakers include Alastair Lukies, Founding Partner of Motive Partners, and Ryan Radloff, Principal of crypto-trading specialist CoinShares?.
