Speakers and agenda confirmed for Jersey Finance London Funds Conference

The impact of Brexit on the European alternative funds landscape and details of a new fund platform for Jersey have been added to the agenda for the Jersey Finance London Funds Conference – ‘New Perspectives’ – this month.

Jonathan de Lance-Holmes, Partner at Linklaters, will be a keynote speaker at the event, which takes place on Tuesday 21 March. He will offer a high-level view of how Brexit is likely to impact the UK asset management and wider European alternative fund industry. 

Also in the line-up is Deborah Lloyd, who became Chairman of the Association of Real Estate Funds this year. She will participate in a panel session exploring evolution in the alternative fund arena, alongside: 
• Tim Morgan, Partner at Mourant Ozannes and Vice Chair of the Jersey Funds Association
• John Maxey, Tax Partner at Deloitte
• Mike Jones, Director of Policy at the Jersey Financial Services Commission. 

During that session, attendees will also get to hear further details about the new Jersey Private Fund platform, launched this week.

• James Duffield, Director at Aztec Group
• Robert Mellor, UK Asset Management Tax Leader at PwC
• Jane Pearce, Managing Director at Vistra
• Rob Milner, Partner at Carey Olsen
• Jonathan Bullock, Director of the Softbank Vision Fund
• BBC broadcaster Nick Robinson 
• Financial Times columnist Tim Harford

The half-day conference, which has run since 2001, is being held at 8 Northumberland Avenue from 12.30pm, including a networking lunch, afternoon tea, and post-conference drinks.
