Will Wright has joined Santander International as its new Chief Operating Officer (COO) for the Channel Islands and the Isle of Man.
As well as being COO for the Crown Dependencies division, Will joins the bank’s Managing Director, Chief Finance Officer and Isle of Man Managing Director on the Executive Committee.
With a strong background in risk, technology and management, Will brings a broad set of skills to Santander International.
He joins from his previous role as Partner at Rubicon Fund Management. He initially joined Rubicon's London office in 2006, becoming Chief Technologist before relocating to Jersey in 2014 to serve as Chief Risk Officer and Chief Technology Officer.
Earlier in his career, Will worked in the UK as an IT Director with an online pension platform provider, and also for UBS, creating its FX Research and Analytics Platform.
