Financial services group Sanne has made two senior appointments. Eric Watson has been named Chief Operating Officer as his predecessor, Phil Godley, moves into a new group role of Senior Managing Director.
Based in the firm’s Jersey headquarters, Eric will oversee the group support functions of IT, operations, human resources, legal and company secretary.
He joins from Royal Bank of Scotland, where he has worked since 2012, most recently as Programme Director for Williams & Glyn Financial Crime.
Prior to that, he spent nearly four years with Standard Life in a variety of roles, overseeing change management, business transformation and acquisition integration.
Meanwhile, in his new role, Phil Godley will be responsible for Sanne’s global product and service offering.
Phil moves up after almost two and a half years as Chief Operating Officer, having joined Sanne in 2006. He will continue to sit on the Sanne Group board alongside Chief Executive Officer Dean Godwin and Chief Financial Officer Spencer Daley.
