Jersey-based Sancus BMS Group has made two senior appointments to its Ireland office – Michael Mooney as Managing Director and Geoff Savage as Director of Lending.
Michael’s 20 years in financial services includes 16 years in banking and real estate finance, most recently at Barclays, where he was Director in the corporate real estate finance department.
His specialisms include investment and development property finance transactions for institutional, large corporate, private client and small cap borrowers. He has also worked on a number of loan restructurings and the origination and execution of investment property transactions on a pan-European basis.
Michael began his career in the financial services department of KPMG in Dublin, where he worked for four years, and he is a fellow of Chartered Accountants Ireland.
Geoff has 18 years’ experience in financial services, including 14 years in real estate and banking, and is also a fellow of Chartered Accountants Ireland.
He joins Sancus from Situs Asset Management Ireland, where he was Managing Director, responsible for setting up and growing the Dublin office of the international loan servicing and commercial real estate advisory business.
Prior to this he worked for five years as a team leader in the asset recovery division of the National Asset Management Agency, managing a team overseeing a significant portfolio of real estate loans.
