RBC Wealth Management, part of Royal Bank of Canada (RBC), has named Ashif Ratanshi as its Head of Wealth Management – International.
Ashif will take up the role in May, succeeding Stuart Rutledge, who is moving to a new leadership role with RBC in Toronto, Canada.
In his new role, Ashif will lead RBC’s Wealth Management businesses in the UK, Channel Islands and Asia, and be based in London.
This is the latest move in Ashif’s 30-year career with the bank, most recently as SVP, Personal Deposits & Investments, Personal & Commercial Banking. In this role, he was responsible for developing and implementing the strategic direction for all aspects of branch investments, deposits and direct investing.
Previous roles with RBC include VP of Direct Investing, and Managing Director of Dominion Securities. He also spent three years as President and CEO of Security First Network Bank.
