Ogier was named Regional/Offshore Law Firm of the Year at the Legal Business Awards in London last night.
The awards recognise the leading players and teams across the legal industry. The Regional/Offshore Firm of the Year title highlights the UK-based firm that has made the most significant progress over the past year in advancing its strategy, based on leadership, financial performance and market share.
Since the start of the year, Ogier has appointed three new Partners among 31 legal hires across the group, and has advised on: the largest UK real estate transaction on record; the first light-touch restructuring undertaken in the BVI; the sale of Cayman National Corporation; and the largest two transactions conducted by way of a court-sanctioned Jersey Scheme of Arrangement.
