Ogier Partner Tim Clipstone has been sworn in as an Advocate of the Royal Court of Guernsey.
An experienced funds, regulatory and corporate lawyer, Tim was admitted to the Guernsey Bar in the Royal Court earlier this month.
He joined Ogier in Guernsey in 2018 and has more than 20 years' experience as a lawyer practising in London, the British Virgin Islands and the Cayman Islands. He has held Partner roles within Maples and Calder, Walkers and Harneys.
His main focus is on all aspects of the lifecycle of hedge, private equity and venture capital fund structures, as well as mergers and acquisitions for entities domiciled in Guernsey and the BVI.
Tim is also a member of Ogier's multi-disciplinary Private Equity and Sustainable Investing and Impact Funds teams and sits on Guernsey Finance's Green Strategy committee.
