Ogier Partner admitted as Guernsey Advocate

CraigCordle_OgierAdvocateOgier Partner Craig Cordle has been sworn in as an Advocate of the Royal Court of Guernsey.

Craig, an investment funds and asset management specialist, was admitted to the Guernsey Bar in the Royal Court yesterday.

He joined Ogier's Guernsey team in November 2016 from London firm Norton Rose Fulbright, where he worked as a Senior Associate. Prior to this, he spent 10 years with Herbert Smith Freehills, also in London.

Having qualified as a Guernsey Advocate, Craig takes the tally of Guernsey-qualified lawyers among Ogier's Guernsey team to 16.

Craig said: "I first began working with Guernsey funds as a trainee lawyer in the City in 2006, so my admission to the Guernsey Bar is important to me."

His highlights this year include advising on the launch of the £202 million Hipgnosis fund investing in songs and musical IP rights, and on the recent launch of Merian Chrysalis' £100 million fund.
