Ogier has advised on a transaction in which investors Urban Exposure and US hedge fund manager EJF Capital LLC have formed a joint venture to finance residential developments in London and the South East of England.
Ogier acted for the investors in establishing the Jersey joint venture vehicle and international holding structure. The transaction involved a multi-jurisdictional team from Ogier led in Jersey by Group Partner Matthew Shaxson and Managing Associate Richard Daggett.
Urban Exposure is a non-bank lender offering a range of financing options for large developments such as Baltimore Wharf in London’s Docklands.
