Ogier has announced three new hires in Guernsey. Jane Hogan has joined the Banking and Finance team, and Richard Doyle the Corporate and Funds team, both as Managing Associates, while Wandi Sishi has joined the Corporate team as an Associate.
Jane brings with her extensive experience advising on multi-jurisdictional banking and finance, corporate and capital market transactions.
She moves to Guernsey from New York, where she has worked for Latham & Watkins, and before that White & Case, since 2013. Her international law career has also included periods in Brisbane, Australia, as well as five years in London with Allen & Overy.
Richard is an experienced corporate, finance and funds lawyer, focusing on mergers and acquisitions, private debt and equity fundraising, shareholder arrangements, corporate governance, open and closed-ended fund structures and regulatory matters.
He brings to Ogier more than 10 years' experience as a lawyer in Dublin, the British Virgin Islands and Guernsey, most recently with Collas Crill in the BVI.
Finally, Wandi, who joins the firm from Walkers, has a range of experience in corporate restructuring and general corporate work. A South African Attorney, she also has experience in derivatives and general corporate banking.
