Jersey-based firm Oben has appointed Paul Le Marrec to the role of Associate Director within the firm’s regulatory practice.
A chartered accountant, prior to joining Oben, Paul spent 15 years as a Senior Analyst at the Jersey Financial Services Commission, where his time was divided between supervision and enforcement.
During his time in supervision, he initiated and led on-site examinations at funds and fund services businesses. He also liaised with enforcement colleagues and other regulatory and law enforcement agencies in relation to cases including distressed property funds.
