New manager for EY’s Channel Islands IT Risk Assurance team

Leo Boessenkool has joined EY in Jersey as an IT Risk Assurance (ITRA) manager.

In his new role, Leo will be responsible for testing internal controls and assisting clients with enhancing their IT infrastructure to gain organisational efficiencies. He is part of EY’s IT Risk Assurance team, which provides clients with assurance around the integrity of their financial data, making use of contemporary tools and methodologies.

Leo began his career in South Africa, qualifying as a Chartered Accountant, before going on to qualify as a registered Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA).

At EY, Leo is leading the ITRA team on various client engagements, from the analysis of critical financial information to the assessment of large scale business change projects.
