Private wealth manager Nedbank has appointed John Harris to its board as a Non-Executive Director.
John joins Nedbank having retired a year ago after 12 years as Director General of the Jersey Financial Services Commission and a member of the Board of Commissioners.
Prior to this, John held the position of international finance director in the Government of Jersey, where he had responsibility for all aspects of the government's policy on the maintenance and enhancement of Jersey's position as a global finance hub.
John has also spent 22 years working for NatWest Bank, during which time he held management positions in the UK, France, Belgium, Switzerland, Singapore, Hong Kong, Nassau and the Channel Islands.
