Mourant has appointed Mike Jones to a leadership role to develop the firm's regulatory offering.
Mike, who will join the firm in January, is currently Director of Policy and Risk at Jersey Financial Services Commission (JFSC).
He has decades of experience in the regulatory arena, both in Jersey and further afield, and has worked for the JFSC since 1998.
In his new role, Mike will provide strategic advice and support in the development and growth of Mourant's global regulatory services. His job title is yet to be confirmed.
The regulatory practice supports clients in Jersey, Guernsey, the Cayman Islands and BVI across the financial services spectrum including banks, insurers and reinsurers, investment firms, asset managers, funds, trust companies and fund administrators.
