Mortgage brokerage business Enness has opened a new office in Jersey, adding to its existing offices in London, Dubai and Monaco.
Enness (Jersey) creates tailored solutions for mortgages secured against UK and international property for a global portfolio of private clients. It sources and arranges borrowing for high-net-worth individuals who are buying, refinancing or releasing equity from property. Many of its clients have complex property structures, with assets located in different countries or classes.
Islay Robinson, Group Chief Executive of Enness, commented: "The offshore islands are an important market for our business, so it makes sense for us to establish a greater presence here."
Enness (Jersey) will be led by Michael Gray. Currently a non-executive director for Jersey Finance – one of several NED posts he holds – Michael founded MMG Consulting in 2015. He has also served as Regional Managing Director, Corporate Banking, for RBS International and Chairman of Funds for RBS Corporate Bank.
Jersey Finance assisted the company in establishing an office on the island.
