Mike Byrne has returned to Jersey following a two-year secondment with PwC Singapore – he assumes the role of Asset Management Industry Leader for PwC in the Channel Islands, with a personal focus on private equity and hedge funds.
Mike’s role in Singapore was to lead PwC’s range of services in the alternative fund space, namely in respect of private equity, hedge and infrastructure funds, bringing together the firm’s service offerings for assurance, tax and regulatory solutions.
Now based in Jersey, Mike will continue to work closely with the PwC Singapore Asset Management team, visiting regularly to maintain relationships and to support clients both in the region, as well as European alternative asset managers and service providers seeking to enter the South East Asian market.
