Last chance for Channel Islands Funds Forum discount tickets

Posted: 18/07/2018

CIFF 2018 imageThere are only two more weeks to take advantage of the discounted rate for this year’s Channel Islands Funds Forum, so delegates are advised to book as soon as possible this week to take advantage of the special price.

The event – Untangling Complexities in Challenging Times – is produced in partnership with Appleby, sponsored by Butterfield and Optimus Group, and supported by Altair, Puritas and Rossborough Professional Risks.

The event will take place from 9am-3.30pm on Wednesday 26 September at the Hotel de France in St Helier.

As in previous years, the conference will bring together leading funds practitioners from the Channel Islands and beyond to discuss the challenges, opportunities and issues that are dominating the funds space right now.

The conference will comprise a variety of sessions and panels covering a wide range of subjects:

Keynote – setting scene for the Channel Islands funds landscape. What might the future hold post-Brexit and beyond?
Jurisdictional comparison – what advantages do the islands have over other jurisdictions and are they deemed too expensive to administer funds?
Tax update – all the latest tax-related issues in the funds space
Fundraising and finance – an overview of the fundraising landscape and where business is likely to come from
Tech and funds – a futuristic look at where the sector needs to go, including fintech and the challenges of artificial intelligence
Panel debate – how to internationalise the Channel Islands funds industry

Delegate places for the conference are available at £245 until 31 July – after that, the price will rise to £395. Up to 5.5 hours of CPD are available depending on the sessions attended.
