Staff members at KPMG in the Channel Islands' Guernsey office have marked important milestones in their careers with a range of promotions and exams successes. Senior appointments have been made across KPMG's specialist areas including audit senior manager, Rachid Frihmat, audit managers Simon Guilbert and Emilie Guillou, tax managers Sara Coyne and Chris Goddard, advisory manager Antony Prynn, audit associate manager Christine Pienaar and tax associate manager Meurig Sanders. Each of the newly-appointed managers will take on more complex and diverse client portfolios and responsibilities in overseeing projects along with increasing responsibility for career development of staff. Twelve students have also progressed to assistant manager and senior tax consultant level following the successful completion of either their ACCA (the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) or ICAEW (Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales) qualifications. KPMG's HR executive director, Debbie Smith said: “KPMG is dedicated to providing exceptional training and supporting the professional development of talented individuals. It is great to be able to recognise the hard work and drive of our staff and it is a privilege to see so many high-achievers this year. “We have recruited 15 talented individuals who are embarking on their professional qualifications and continue to grow as a cross-island firm. We provide excellent professional development advice and opportunities for graduates and school leavers and expect our newest recruits will go on to see similar success.” Pictured left to right: Emilie Guillou, audit manager; Simon Guilbert, audit manager; Debbie Smith, HR and audit executive director; Chris Goddard, tax manager; and Sara Coyne, tax manager.
