Julius Baer has recruited Derek Beatty to its Guernsey team as Executive Director and Senior Portfolio Manager.
Derek has spent the past 11 years at Credit Suisse, where he was a member of the regional UK Investment Committee. Prior to his time in Guernsey, he had spent three years in Credit Suisse’s London office.
He brings 14 years of investment industry experience to his new role, including nine as a Senior Portfolio Manager co-managing more than $4bn of multi-manager client monies. He has also managed portfolios in Guernsey, London and Australia.
In his new role, Derek will help to grow Julius Baer’s local banking operation and its discretionary portfolio management business.
