JSCCA names new committee

Wendy Martin and Paul WoodmanThe Jersey Society for Chartered and Certified Accountants (JSCCA) has appointed a new executive committee to support its members and represent the accountancy profession in Jersey.

Following its recent Annual General Meeting, Paul Woodman has been named President, with Wendy Martin supporting him as Vice President. Both will hold their new posts for the next two years.

Established in 1974, the JSCCA has a membership of around 600 individuals and liaises regularly with the Jersey Financial Services Commission and government on matters relating to the accounting profession in Jersey. It also organises regular CPD events. 

Paul is Finance Director and COO at the Jersey Pottery and JP Restaurants Group. A chartered accountant of nearly 20 years’ experience, he has practised in Jersey for the past 10 years. 

Prior to his current role, Paul spent five years as Director and Head of Tax at Deloitte Jersey, and he has served on tax and finance committee of the Jersey branch of the Institute of Directors.

Wendy is Head of Tax at EY Channel Islands and has over 20 years of experience advising clients on a wide range of tax matters. She was previously Head of Tax Policy within the Jersey Government.
