The Jersey Financial Services Commission has announced that it will be holding a compliance monitoring (CMP) webinar on Wednesday 24 February at 14:00.
At the webinar, JFSC Examinations Head of Unit Amanda Reilly and Senior Manager Nicky Fagan will focus on the value of effective CMP, which enables senior managers to show they have implemented and maintained adequate and effective systems and controls.
The event is designed to remind regulated businesses of the importance of CMP, after the Commission's themed examination last year identified several businesses failing to adhere to guidance published in December 2013.
Some of these findings related to policies and procedures, record-keeping, corporate governance and risk assessments.
