The Jersey Financial Services Commission (JFSC) has announced the appointment of a new Registrar of Companies.
Julian Lamb, Director of Registry and Deputy Registrar, will take up the position of Registrar of Companies following the departure of John Harris on 10 July 2018.
Julian has held the role of Director of Registry at the JFSC for more than 10 years, and is also a member of the the commission's executive board.
He has the statutory position and primary executive responsibility for the leadership and management of the Registry. He is in charge of its day-to-day operations, which includes policy and strategic development, and enhancing the Registry’s international reputation.
Prior to joining the JFSC in December 1999, Julian worked in Jersey’s finance industry for more than 20 years, including at Director level.
He is a fellow of the Chartered Association of Certified Accountants and the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment, and a board member of several international registry organisations.
