Jersey has been named Best International Finance Centre at this year’s International Investment Awards, presented in London this week.
Now in their 20th year, the awards aim to highlight talent, excellence and expertise across the international wealth, asset management, investment and financial advisory sector. The award winners were chosen by an independent panel of judges.
Jersey Finance CEO Joe Moynihan commented: “This recognition reflects another hugely busy year for Jersey as a forward-thinking international finance centre, in which we have continued to bring new innovative products to market and extend our reach into overseas markets – not least with the opening this week of our New York office.”
Several businesses with operations in the Channel Islands were also among the winners. Rathbones was named Best International Discretionary Fund Manager, while Standard Bank Offshore Group won the Excellence in Private Banking award.
Meanwhile, Utmost Wealth Solutions was honoured for Excellence in Client Service, Industry, for the UK.
