Investment advisory business Concentric Financial Services has been launched in Jersey.
Based in St Helier, Concentric aims to advise private investors, charities and trustees on investment solutions that create a positive social and environmental impact without compromising investment returns.
Concentric co-founders James Painter and Gordon Bennie each have nearly 20 years’ experience working in investment management. James has worked in management roles with ABN Amro, Royal Bank of Canada and TMF Group, and is a co-founder of Enhance Group. Gordon most recently led Enhance Wealth Consultancy and has 17 years' experience of advising private clients, trustees and corporate clients.
Their new firm offers bespoke investment manager selection services, incorporating pension solutions based on impact investment strategies, as well as traditional investment strategies.
Impact investment allocates capital to businesses that create measurable, positive social and environmental impacts, moving beyond the environmental, social, and governance (ESG) criteria on which most major global companies already report.
Concentric Financial Services is regulated by the Jersey Financial Services Commission to conduct investment business under the Financial Services (Jersey) Law 1998.
