The Jersey Hospitality Association (JHA) has promoted Simon Soar to the role of Chief Executive Officer.
Simon joined the JHA as a Manager in January this year. He has spent the past 17 years managing bars and restaurants across the Channel Islands. Most recently, he was Training and Events Manager at Bar Technics, where he has worked for 12 years.
He commented: “Hospitality and tourism play a vital role in ensuring the diversity and sustainability of Jersey’s economy and our members have worked hard, despite extremely challenging employment circumstances, to make sure visitors and residents experience the best the island has to offer."
