Jersey Chamber announces Christmas Lunch

Posted: 04/12/2018

Jersey Chamber of Commerce has announced details of its Christmas Lunch – What’s Next for St Helier?

Guest speaker Simon Crowcroft, Constable of St Helier, will explain what changes he would like to see in Jersey's capital in the next few years. With the majority of Jersey businesses operating within the parish, these organisations will play a major part in the development and strategies being drawn up for it.

In his 17 years as Constable, Crowcroft has championed the urban regeneration of the town and the need for a safe, accessible environment for the retail, hospitality and financial services sectors.

He supports the parish system but wants the administration of St Helier to be digitally enabled and reformed to meet the needs of the 21st century.

• The lunch will be held on Wednesday 12 December at the Royal Yacht Hotel, from 12:15 to 14:30. To book tickets, click here
