Jersey business leader wins at national IoD awards

Tim Crowley accepts IoD awardA senior professional from Jersey was recognised at the Institute of Directors' UK Director of the Year Awards last week.

Tim Crowley, Managing Director of La Mare Vineyards – who picked up a Jersey Director of the Year Award in April – was named SME Director of the Year at the London Awards. 

Three other Directors from Jersey were shortlisted for the Awards, which are designed to recognise and celebrate the exceptional achievements of individuals at director level within private, public and voluntary organisations across Britain:
• Director of the Year for Public and Third Sector: Charlotte Valeur, Board Apprentice
• Director of the Year for a Large Organisation: Paul Savery, Barclays
• Young Director of the Year: Pippa Davidson, Fairway Group

In total, the Awards featured almost 80 individuals, including some of the UK’s most successful company Directors from across England, Scotland, Northern Ireland, Wales and the Crown Dependencies, in a variety of categories.
