Jersey non-executive directors group j-ned has announced the first event in its 2019 CPD series.
The free-to-attend event, entitled Fund Directors - Regulatory Developments and Top 10 Recurring Failings, will be held on Tuesday 29 January at 8.30am for a 9am start at the Deloitte offices in Gaspe House.
Independent NED Richard Barnes, along with David Wilson and Jamie Biddle from Oben Law, will cover:
• Regulatory developments
• The revised fining regime
• Revisions to the anti money laundering regime
• National risk assessment – lessons to date and what may change
There will also be a panel session inviting discussion with the audience about common failings and how they may be avoided.
