The next seminar in the Institute of Directors’ Winter Series will draw on the views and experience of three Guernsey-based entrepreneurs who have brought very different products to local and global markets:
• Jay Aylmer of The Potting Shed and TagTeam, which is developing intelligent wristbands for crowd control at large gatherings
• Matt Watson of Silverback Sunglasses, which produces glasses lenses and frames
• Nick Magliochetti of Waves, Guernsey's new airline promising an Uber-style service
The panellists will discuss how their backgrounds and experience have influenced the decisions they have taken. Jennifer Strachan of Startup Guernsey will also join the panel, bringing to the discussion more than 20 years’ experience in managing established businesses, angel investments and new ventures through growth.
The seminar will be held on Friday 3 March at the Digital Greenhouse. It starts at 12.15pm and runs for 1.5 hours.
