Tables for the IOD Guernsey annual debate sold out in 15 minutes this morning with just a few seats now remaining on club tables. The high level of interest in the event, which will take place on 4 October, was anticipated and a strict table application process was put in place. Broadcast journalist Nick Ross will moderate the discussion which will focus on the future of Guernsey and its place on the global business stage. Chairman of the IOD Guernsey branch Anne Ewing said: “I believe that to sell out in 15 minutes is a record. We are pleased that there is so much enthusiasm for the event and we are working hard to ensure that we deliver a thought-provoking and productive debate.” The principal sponsor of the event is Carey Olsen. Further details of panellists will be announced soon and discussion and developments over the next few months can be followed on Twitter - @IODGsydebate.
