The Guernsey branch of the Institute of Directors has announced that IoD Chair Charlotte Valeur (pictured) will share her vision for the organisation at the upcoming July Lunch, and later provide a corporate governance masterclass for members at the IoD Alumni Dinner.
The Lunch, entitled IoD 2020 and Beyond, a Strategic Vision, will take place from midday at the Old Government House Hotel on Wednesday 3 July, with the Alumni Dinner – open to IoD alumni only – following at 7pm in the same venue.
With more than 30 years' experience in finance, Charlotte was appointed Chair last September and is responsible for championing the IoD’s values, promoting its objectives and providing leadership to the Institute.
She is a corporate governance specialist and a keen advocate for diversity in the boardroom, having founded Board Apprentice in 2014.
