Guernsey-based marine insurance business Astaara has appointed Howard Potter to the role of Head of Marine Cyber.
Howard moves to Astaara from London-based RSA Group, where he was Global Product Director for Marine.
Earlier in his career, after gaining experience in marine claims in Manchester, Howard moved to Birmingham as a regional marine underwriter.
In 2000, he moved to insurance company CNA Maritime as Branch Manager in Birmingham, and then to Canada in 2004 as Head of Marine for CNA Canada.
After three and a half years there, he moved back to London, remaining with CNA for 17 years and progressing through the ranks.
