Following its virtual Funds Forum in May, Guernsey Finance is hosting a second event – Sanctuary II – across three days from 2 to 4 November.
A series of webinars will feature market leaders discussing the investment market landscape and why Guernsey remains a sanctuary for many.
2020 will be remembered for the Covid-19 pandemic, demand for social-economic reform, and global tensions leading to geopolitical unrest. A panel of market practitioners will discuss whether 2020 will change capitalism as we know it, and the implications for the global fund community and the investment landscape.
Each session will start at 2pm and last and hour, including the following speakers:
• Day one – Miles Celic, Chief Executive, TheCityUK
• Day two – James Bromley, Partner, Weil, Gotshal & Manges
• Day three – journalist and broadcaster Andrew Neil, who will be joined by Guernsey Finance CEO Rupert Pleasant for a live Q&A session.
