Grant Thornton has appointed David Cartwright as Senior Consultant, Information Security.
David will lead the Information Security team, providing a range of services to clients in the Channel Islands:
• Data protection, including the EU GDPR and Channel Islands laws
• Information security awareness testing
• Virtual CISO services
• Information security assessments
• Project security management
• ISO 27001 implementation and advisory services
• Cyber essentials
• Business continuity planning
David has a long history in IT, telecoms and information security. He has worked in the Channel Islands for more than 10 years, most recently as Group Security Officer for JT. He has also written extensively in the IT press and has been a judge of the UK Cloud Awards since their inception in 2014.
He is presently Chairman of the Jersey branch of the British Computer Society and Vice Chairman of the Channel Islands Information Security Forum.
