Grant Thornton Channel Islands has expanded its senior management team with the appointment of Wynand Pretorius as Audit Director in Guernsey.
Since moving to Guernsey in 2014, Wynand has focused on working with large listed companies in the wealth and asset management sector.
He joins Grant Thornton after almost four years with EY as a Director in the firm's Europe, Middle East, India & Africa Financial Services Organisation team.
Wynand has experience in a range of industries, including telecommunications, construction, private equity and real estate.
His earlier career, in the US and then South Africa, includes six years with BDO South Africa in senior audit roles.
