Global power, economic prosperity and international trade wars are all on the agenda at the next IoD Jersey Leaders Lunch on Tuesday 26 February.
The lunch, entitled Trade Wars - Seeing the Wood for the Trees, will take place at the Grand Jersey Hotel & Spa from 12 noon.
The guest speaker will be Geoffrey Yu (pictured), an Executive Director and Head of the UK investment office, and an ultra-high-net-worth investment strategist, for UBS Wealth Management.
He will discuss the gravity of the US-China trade dispute, how it effects the balance of global economic power and the battle for tech dominance as a response to global trends such as population growth, urbanisation and the changing investment landscape.
