GIFA announces name change

Posted: 02/05/2019

The Guernsey Investment Fund Association (GIFA) has updated its name and logo to the Guernsey Investment & Funds Association.

The association, which this year marks its 30th anniversary, added the Guernsey Investment Managers & Stockbrokers Association (GIMSA) to its membership earlier this year.

GIFA’s recently elected Chairman, Christopher Jehan, said: “The name Guernsey Investment & Funds Association better reflects the firms and individuals GIFA represents following the merger with GIMSA.”

GIFA will be transitioning to the new branding over the coming weeks through a series of marketing communications, events and the redevelopment of its website (www.gifa.org.gg).

Jehan added: “Guernsey’s fund industry has evolved through product development, most recently the Guernsey Green Fund and the Private Investment Fund, as well as expansion into new markets, so it felt right that our brand image should evolve too.”
