Paul Mylrea, the current Director of Communications at the University of Cambridge, and previously the BBC’s Director of Communications, will be joining the roster of expert industry speakers at this year’s inaugural Channel Islands PR Forum.
The half-day event, organised by the Channel Islands Group of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR), is being held on 24 September in Guernsey, and will feature a diverse line-up of visiting speakers from digital, international and academic public relations practice.
Paul will deliver a keynote talk titled ‘Building trust with leaders - the key to success in PR’, highlighting why PR should be embraced by senior business executives and how PR professionals can get the buy-in from business leaders. During his talk Paul will draw on the experiences of his varied career, including his current role managing the global reputation of one of the world’s leading universities.
