Independent corporate service provider the Belasko Group has opened a new office in Jersey.
The group launched six years ago based in Guernsey, where it now has a total of 30 staff.
Directors Mark O’Malley and Alan Parsons will lead the new office. Alan and Mark are based in Jersey, but the plan is to expand their team on the island to around 16 over the next two years.
The firm says the move to Jersey will increase client choice and allow the business to expand its fund, corporate and fiduciary services both in the Channel Islands and internationally.
Belasko Managing Director Nicola Walker commented: “It made sense for us to expand into Jersey, a jurisdiction we and many of our clients know well and which has a robust infrastructure and the highest standards of regulation and governance.”
