Posted: 21/02/2019

EY is holding seminar on 13 March, which will provide an overview of the changes to the AML Handbook.

The new AML regime will come into effect on 31 March. EY Advisory Director Mark Le Page will offer his insights on the upcoming changes. Mark worked for the GFSC for over 16 years, during which time he oversaw a number of regulatory changes and industry interaction with various AML issues, including the implementation of the previous AML Handbook.

He will be joined by fellow GFSC alumnus David McCloskey, EY’s CI Compliance Senior Manager, along with Jo Bold and Nick Gaudion, who have been managing EY’s leading risk remediation and AML projects on the island.

Over the course of the presentation the team will share their insights on the following:
• What does risk-based mean?
• Transitional arrangements
• Enhanced measures
• Other changes of interest

The free-to-attend event will be held from 12.30pm to 1.30 at the Duke of Richmond Hotel, Guernsey. Delegates can register to attend with Sophie Lihou on 01481 717 560 or slihou@uk.ey.com
