EY seeks interviewees for Global Information Security Survey

Posted: 13/08/2015

EY is currently conducting global interviews with thousands of individuals across all major industries as part of its 2015 Global Information Security Survey (GISS), and is encouraging business leaders and those responsible for IT systems in the Channel Islands to take part.

The survey assesses trends in cyber security – a key issue today and an area of increasing focus for regulators, boards of directors and clients. The survey can help local businesses ensure they have the necessary framework in place to protect themselves, their assets and their customers and benchmark whether they are keeping up with the market.

EY’s GISS is one of the longest running and most respected surveys of its kind. For 17 years, it has helped businesses focus on their current critical risks, identify their strengths and weaknesses, and improve their information security for the future.

The global survey provides organisations across all industries with the opportunity to gain invaluable insight into how they compare to both their local and global competitors. With the fieldwork running until the end of August 2015, there is still time for local businesses to participate in the survey and receive benchmarking analysis on their specific performance against peers in the market place.

Leo Boessenkool, EY’s IT Risk Assurance Manager, is currently interviewing participants in the Channel Islands for the global survey.

For further information or to take part in the survey, he can be contacted at LBoessenkool@uk.ey.com or on 01534 288260. Alternatively, contact Matteo Corsi at mcorsi@uk.ey.com or 01534 288643.
