EY names Channel Islands Head of Tax

Wendy MartinEY Partner Wendy Martin has extended her role within the Channel Islands. Having been promoted to Tax Partner last July, she is taking over as Head of Tax, replacing Peter Willey, who has recently returned to an EY team in the UK.

A specialist in domestic and international tax matters, with 20 years’ experience in providing tax advice, Wendy has an in-depth knowledge of the automatic exchange of information regimes and their application to businesses. She regularly advises banks, fund managers, trust companies and administrators on how to address the associated compliance challenges. 

As well as her tax specialism, she has championed the diversity and inclusiveness agenda, encouraging women to expand their networks, develop professional skills and be better represented on boards.

Prior to joining EY, Wendy was Director of Tax Policy with the States of Jersey, which involved developing international and domestic tax policy for the island.
