EY breakfast seminar to focus on BEPS

Posted: 19/11/2015

A forthcoming EY breakfast seminar will run through the Organisation of Economic Co-operation and Development’s (OECD) final package of reports focused on the Base Erosion and Profit Sharing (BEPS) action plan.

On 5 October 2015, the OECD released its final package of 13 reports on the BEPS Action Plan. EY’s breakfast seminar entitled 'BEPS: What does it mean in practice' will take on Thursday 26 November.  Wendy Martin, EY Tax Partner, will provide an overview of the recommendations set out in the reports and the practical implications for businesses in the Channel Islands.

Also speaking at the seminar will be Andy Martyn, a partner from EY’s Transfer Pricing Team in London who is one of the firm’s lead partners on the Financial Services BEPS agenda. Before joining EY, he led the International Financial Services Group at HM Revenue & Customs, where he concluded some of the most significant transfer pricing settlements and produced the rewritten investment manager exemption tax rules governing offshore funds with UK investment managers.

The seminar will take place on Thursday 26 November at the Royal Yacht Hotel from 8-10am. To book a place contact Sophie Lihou by email on slihou@uk.ey.com or by telephone on 01481 717560.
