Equiom has announced the acquisition of Eagle Consulting, an Inverness-based professional services outsourcing firm with an international client base.
Established in 1997, Eagle Consulting offers a range of services, including management and statutory accounting, payroll, tax and compliance services, direct debiting and treasury services. It also has a large BACS bureau.
Equiom’s Global CEO, Sheila Dean, said: “The acquisition will both broaden our accountancy offering and will see us established in a key region. The UK is a central hub for international business activity and Equiom’s presence in this jurisdiction is crucial.”
Sixty-four staff members from Eagle Consulting will join the Equiom team with immediate effect and the company will begin the process of rebranding to Equiom in April 2017.
