Professional services provider Equiom has announced the acquisition of Tokyo-based corporate services business Solid Japan.
Solid Japan, established in 2008, offers a suite of services to support inbound investment into Japan. The acquisition adds to Equiom’s existing Asia presence in Singapore and Hong Kong.
Equiom Global CEO Sheila Dean (pictured) commented: “This acquisition allows us to expand into a new jurisdiction with excellent growth opportunities.”
Robert Crane, Managing Director of Solid Japan, added: “For us, it will be business as usual. Clients of Solid Japan will continue to receive the same service from our local team, but with access to a new range of global services under the Equiom umbrella.”
Fifteen team members from Solid Japan will join the Equiom team with immediate effect and the company will begin the process of rebranding to Equiom in April 2017.
