Following the announcement earlier this year of a new private equity partnership with Värde Partners, professional services provider Equiom Group has announced changes to its senior leadership team.
Sheila Dean, the firm's long-term Global CEO based in the Isle of Man – and original leader of the management buyout from Anglo Irish Bank that led to the creation of Equiom in 2006 – has moved to Executive Chair of the group.
In her new role, Sheila will focus on managing key external relationships alongside maintaining her existing client relationships. As well as continuing to act as a global ambassador for the business, Sheila will work with the new CEO and global board on strategic initiatives, including expanding services and responding to clients' evolving needs and the group’s M&A activity.
Recruitment for a new Global CEO is under way as the group positions itself to achieve growth plans over the next three to five years. Sheila will ultimately move to non-executive Chair of the Group when the new CEO joins.
