The latest issue of BL magazine is now available online, and leads with the result of the general election in the UK, what it might mean for Brexit negotiations, and its possible impact on the Channel Islands.
Nick Kirby, Editor-in-Chief of BL magazine, says: “When the last issue of the magazine came out two months ago, it looked as if Theresa May was going to walk into 10 Downing Street with an overall majority. Now we find ourselves in an even more uncertain position with regard to Brexit – and the Channel Islands are left playing a waiting game.”
On a more upbeat note, another feature takes a look at the new funds regimes in Guernsey and Jersey and looks at the benefits they will bring the funds industries in the islands.
Other features in this issue include:
• India hasn’t been the land of opportunity it was expected to be, but that may well change
• An interview with Nick Magliocchetti, CEO of air taxi service Waves
• The ins and outs of high-net-worth divorce
• Whether family offices should be regulated
• Proposed changes to Jersey Trust law
• How it seems the customer is no longer right
• A look at the traits that leaders of the future will need to have
• An examination of whether some female bosses stop other women progressing
• And much more…
